Tasks for volunteers
of Big Team

On this page you can always see the current tasks. The list of tasks will gradually increase.
Everything you need to know about the tasks.
What are the tasks
Short-term tasks: are when we are looking for one or more performers for one-time or periodic assistance: collect information, write a text, edit a video, be a moderator at an event, etc. These tasks have start and end dates.

Permanent tasks: a task with no end date, that can be done anytime and without any special skills.
How to sign up for task
When we publish a task, we attach a form where you can leave your contact information.

Tasks are published on this page and on the Telegram channel "Big team of MS".

If you are not yet in the Big team, click here.
What happens when I sign up for the task
Within 24 hours, you will receive a confirmation from the supervisor that your data has been received.

Further, there are several options possible. They are:

- the curator will select several candidates and discuss the assignment (task) with them.
- all candidates will be added to the group, where the task will be discussed and the performers will be selected.
- The work will be divided among all candidates and the curator will contact each one separately.

In any case, within 7 days you will have information about whether you have been chosen as a participant.
What if circumstances have changed and I cannot complete the task I have taken?
This is normal, circumstances can change for everyone. But you should warn your supervisor about this as early as possible, so that it doesn't affect the overall work.

There is nothing wrong with abandoning the assignment, but if you do not inform about this, the team will have difficulties.
What if I do not have time to complete the task on time?
It is important to warn the curator as early as possible and find solutions to the situation with him/her. Maybe you can postpone the deadlines, or you can invite someone to help, or transfer the task to another person.

The main thing is not to be silent, not to delay until the last moment, when the deadlines are already on fire. Everyone may have unforeseen circumstances, workload, etc., which will prevent them from completing the task on time. This is normal.

Just warn the curator so as not to let the team down.
What If nobody has contacted me after signing up for the task?
Such situations are rare, but they do happen. And this does not mean that your help is not important to us- it is! But sometimes there are some technical errors, something went wrong somewhere.

There's no need to be offended or jump to conclusions. Just write about it on Telegram @tapanistha (Taisiya Malmygo)
What if there are no suitable tasks for me?
In this case, there is always the opportunity to do permanent tasks that do not require special skills.

2️⃣ You also can help with promotion if you leave a comment. You can express your opinion on the topic of the video, or your impression of watching. This should be a detailed comment, at least 2-3 sentences.

3️⃣ And the last thing - you can share the video on your social networks. So more and more people could find out about the "Meditationsteps" and it will be able to change their lives.

Collecting the photo
Share your photos where you are doing yoga and meditation with the project.
We constantly need photos for the illustrations in social networks, websites, posters, etc. How can you help here?

Send us your high-quality photos during meditation, asana class, kaoshiki / tandava, walks in beautiful places in nature, and others associated with the practice of yoga. Of course, if you don't mind us using them on our media resources.

Maybe someone will even get inspired for a special photo session for the "Meditationsteps" project.

ATTENTION! A few important conditions:

1️⃣ These can only be your personal photos, where there are no children and other people facing the camera, except you.

2️⃣ You understand that these photos will be used in public space and you are giving your consent to this.

3️⃣ By default, it is considered that if you have uploaded photos to a special folder, we can safely use them for the purpose of the "Lessons" project.

For our part, we guarantee:
✅ Your photos will be used with respect and dignity.
✅ At any time at your request, we will remove your photos from the photo bank and will no longer use them.
